How do I invest?

You can get a prospectus and account registration form by downloading them here or by calling 1-800-470-1029 to request the information to be sent through the U.S. Mail. I’m already an investor. How can I check on my account?

Call 1-800-470-1029 between 8am and 6pm Eastern Time Monday through Friday to speak to a shareholder services representative about your account. Have your account number ready. You can also call this number 24 hours a day for current share price information and account balances. (Back to top of page)


Are there any sales charges or loads on the fund?

The Appleseed Fund is a no-load fund, however, the fund is intended for long-term investors and to discourage short-term trading and market timing, which can increase Fund expenses, the Fund typically charges a fee of 2.00% of the redemption proceeds on shares redeemed within 90 calendar days after they are purchased. What is the minimum investment?

The minimum initial investment in the Fund’s Investor share class is $2,500 and in the Fund’s Institutional share class is $100,000.(Back to top of page)


Do you offer Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)?

Yes. You can open an IRA account with a $2,500 initial investment, transfer an existing IRA account from another institution, or even consolidate several existing IRA accounts into an Appleseed Fund IRA account. The Fund offers Traditional, Roth and SEP IRAs. (Back to top of page)


Can I open an account to save for my child’s or grandchild’s education?

Yes. Coverdell Education Savings Accounts and Uniform Gift/Transfer to Minors Accounts (UGMA/UTMA) may be opened with a $2,500 minimum initial investment. (Back to top of page)


How can I track the Appleseed Fund?

I have a third party check I would like to deposit into my account, how do I do that?

Sorry, no third party checks. All purchases must be made in U.S. dollars and checks must be drawn on U.S. financial institutions from an account bearing the same name as the investor in the fund. No cash, credit cards, or third party checks will be accepted. (Back to top of page)


Can I set up automatic deposits into my account?

You may make regular investments in the Fund with an Automatic Investment Plan by completing the appropriate section of the account application and attaching a voided personal check. Investments may be made monthly to allow dollar-cost averaging by automatically deducting $100 or more from your bank checking account. You may change the amount of your monthly purchase at any time. If an Automatic Investment Plan purchase is rejected by your bank, your shareholder account will be charged a fee to defray bank charges. (Back to top of page)
